MANIPULATION UNDER ANESTHESIA

Manipulation under anesthesia or MUA is a technique that has been around for years. This procedure is performed in a 3 day period and will take approximately 1 hour each visit. The adhesions or fibroblastic scar tissue that is formed when we injury ourself limits your muscle flexibility as you get older. During the procedure these fibroblastic adhesions break lose or pop as we stretch, adjust and perform specific spinal manipulation.

After the procedure we reccommend follow up with physical therapy which includes ultra sound, electirc stimulation, stretching and ice. Patients report a significant change with increased flexibility and how much better they feel and their overall health improving.
